John Garang of Sudan

1.John Garang was a very peaceful man and was trying to set justice towards his people. He ended a war that took more than two million lives. He was elected to be Vice-President. Three weeks before it was time for his to go in office he died in a helicopter crash.

2.The Dinka people of Sudan was the people who lived in the south part of Sudan. They did alot of things that you wont see people do everyday. For example, brushing there teeth with blood sucking ticks. They was very strong people. They held up very well.

3.Slmp/a is another way of saying the sudan people liberation movement army. Sundan was in a conflict in the year of 1983. They had started war because because of language and culture.

4.Alot of incidents happened during this battle. There was alot of confusion because people did not know if the SPLA was fighting for independence. Also, the SLPA was known as the human rights abuse.

5.This will benfit them from going back to war. It will also bring the people back together. And people will not get judged for being them.

Five Million Dead and Counting

1.The event that led to the Congo war was that the war from Rwanda had spread. They wanted to track down the rest of the people from the genocide. They killed alot of others. And plenty of other countries was involved in it.

2.During this event more than 5 million people was killed. This war has been going on for about 10 years now. There was one other country who involved and that was Rwanda. The main group who had something to do with this conflict was the Tutsi. After awhile people got sick of it.

3.To stop the war in Congo I think that they should forget about the past and just pray for a future. Because this is causing alot of people dying including children. And if it can spread from Rwanda it can also spread to any other country. So I think they should just forgive. It might be hard, but if they come together as an nation they can break through it.

Rwanda Homework

1.The factors that led to the genocide in Rwanda in the year of 1994 is that they had found the president of Rwanda dead. He went by name of Juvenal Habyarimana his plane was shot down coming from the airport of Kagali. The judge Paul Kagame was acused with causing this incident that has happened. Paul Kagame said "that it needed to be done". This is when this conflict of Rwanda began.

2.The time frame of the genocide incident happened more than 80,000 people has past. The group of people who has been killed and injured the most was the Tutsis. This started in April 6,1994 in stopped in July in the year of 1994. As the days went by people was losing loved ones for a useless reason. Then it started to spread.

3.Some of the after effects that happened after the genocide was that the multi-athnic government was set up. Later during this time Bizimungu was sent to jail in charged with violence. Also people started to try to fix there devastasting lives from this horrible event.
